What Exactly Does “Pain and Suffering” Refer to?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Pain and suffering is actually shorthand for all the ways that an injury from an accident can affect you besides medical bills and lost wages.
It can include things like grief, anxiety, depression, and even loss of enjoyment of life and the way we show that for our clients is we find specific instances in their life of how the injuries affected them.
For example we have a case where a client couldn’t pick up his child anymore because of back pain following an accident and that’s a specific example we would use to help the insurance companies, and ultimately a jury, show how an injury affected them.
