A personal injury case can take anywhere from a couple months to years. The reason for that big disparity is that some cases have a number of issues that need to be investigated.
Those issues could include the nature and extent of injuries as well as how those injuries will affect the person in the future and affect their work.
Another issue could be liability: who’s at fault. Some cases require experts to analyze evidence and that can take a lot of time. For that reason some cases could take months and some could take years.
