Jonathan Howell has tried personal injury cases for nearly 20 years, recovering millions for California injury victims. Before law school, Jonathan worked as a computer programmer and initially planned to pursue a career focused on legal and technology issues. That path changed after he interned at a major Los Angeles personal injury law firm and worked on cases involving refinery workers injured in a large explosion. He spoke with injured workers and their families about how the injuries affected their lives, their health, and their ability to provide for their families—while observing the refinery’s legal team doing everything possible to avoid responsibility. When the case was resolved in favor of the workers, Jonathan felt a sense of purpose that reshaped his career.
From that point forward, Jonathan knew his calling was to represent injured people and families who had lost a loved one.
